If you’ve ever travelled along the Oodnadatta Track in outback South Australia you will know about Mound Springs. They’re springs of the Great Artesian Basin where ancient waters slowly bubbles to the surface, they were the inspiration for this unique cuttlefish bone cast ring.
This ring and its texture is made using the ancient technique of cuttlefish casting. More about the technique can be found in my blog.
