Size InnThis ring has been made using the ancient technique of Cuttlefish casting. The process of Cuttlefish casting involves taking a cuttlefish bone found on the beach, I cut it in two and carve out a basic design, and a funnel. I then wire together the two halves and melt sterling silver until it is molten and pour it quickly into the mould. After cooling I open the mould to find a very crude form which I take back to my bench and the hard work begins. I spend many hours at the bench filing and emerying before polishing and finally presenting it for sale.
