Enjoy Sunday exploring the Point Nepean Market and a stroll through the beautiful National Park. You will find me at site 53. If you can’t make it you are always welcome at my studio by appointment.
I have over 90 pairs of my stunning handmade glass bead earrings to choose from, and a large selection of silver rings and pendants. All my beads are kiln annealed to reduce the risk of breakage.
I offer PayPal payments and Credit card processing to make sure you wont miss out.
On the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me ten swirling seas, nine carat gold rings, eight electric blue earrings, seven cuttlefish, six silver pendants, five silver rings, four cascading jewels, three work benches, two topaz earrings and Katrina Newman’s jewellery.
These strikingly beautiful rings and pendants (cast using cuttlefish as the mould) will be on display, and for sale, at my first Red Hill Market stall this weekend. Find me at site 86 under my new brilliant white marquee. My lamp work bead earrings, necklaces and pendants will also be available at the Market.
Despite the heat wave that is blasting Melbourne, rest assured a glorious market day of 25 degrees can be had this weekend at the Portsea Market, Point Nepean National Park. You will find me at site 52 with a beautiful sea view (just like my studio).
Today I’ve been busy etching and cleaning beads to arrange into a few more earrings and pendants to tempt you on Sunday.
I am also pleased to announce that I can offer PayPal payments and Credit card processing to make sure you don’t miss out, though I always prefer cash.
This weekend please feel welcome to come and browse through the beautiful collection of jewellery I have made that would suit your festive season party or any other occasion.
It’s this weekend the 26th and 27th October, it’s your chance to see my beautiful studio with views of Port Phillip Bay and Arthur’s Seat Park, and learn more about my work as a gold and silversmith.
I am one of 23 studios open to the public this coming weekend as part of the Peninsula Studio Trail with artists that work across most mediums including: – ceramics, textiles, printmaking, glass, painters, photographers and more. Come on down to the Mornington Peninsula and glimpse into the often very private domain, their studio.
I will be doing regular demonstrations of lamp working glass beads and will only be too happy to describe the processes involved in the making of my jewellery. Light refreshments will also be available.
You’ll find my studio at 69 Cinerama Crescent McCrae. If you are unable to make it this weekend please contact me via my Contact page to organise another time.
I look forward to making you feel welcome on Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 5pm.
Please click on the map below for a copy of the Peninsula Studio Trail and all the artists address’ and contact details.
I had such a good time at the last market please come and experience the wonderful Emu Plains Market for yourself this Saturday from 8am to 1pm in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula. I’ll be selling all the works available on Etsy and a whole lot more, including the rings pictured below, necklaces, earrings, pendants and bracelets.
The Emu Plains Market has been running for over 7 months and is curated by some very passionate local people. It’s been resurrected from previous market versions held at the same venue. This market embodies all that makes a succesful and good market, “it’s all about the community and families but most of all…it’s about you!”
At the market you will find farm fresh produce, gourmet food, artists and crafts people’s work from Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, and vintage collectables. This is the last market until October.
The market is located in Coolart Road Balnarring in the stringbark forest next to the Balnarring racecourse, it’s a lovely venue to while a few hours away and support local business.
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, please drop by and say hello. My stall is in Number 1 position on the day.
