Come and join me at my next open studio as I launch my Australia to the Arctic fundraising campaign, to celebrate with friends, donors and clients from 10am to 5pm. I’ll be offering light refreshments and an exhibition of current work, plus a door prize of a pair of my lamp-work glass bead earrings to one lucky visitor.
My ‘Australia to the Arctic’ fundraising campaign is quickly drawing to its end on the 25 June. Would you please donate to support my participation in the Canadian Wilderness Artists Residency, all donations $2 and over are Tax Deductible. Please follow this link to make a donation to my project. https://australianculturalfund.org.au/projects/australia-to-the-arctic/
The Australian Cultural Fund is a fundraising platform for Australian artists, it is managed by Creative Partnerships Australia and was established by the Australian Government in 2003 to encourage donations to the arts. Donations over $2 are tax deductible through the ACF, and supporters get the chance to make a real difference to the work of Australian artists.
I am the first Australian to be selected to participate on the Canadian Wilderness Artist Residency in the Yukon Territory this July and August. I was chosen from 42 applicants to paddle in sub-arctic Canada 735 kilometres down the Yukon River from Whitehorse to Dawson City, arriving just in time to participate in the Riverside Arts Festival.
