Moonah Pendant 2 in sterling silver
This pendant / dog tag was inspired by hikes I’ve enjoyed this year in the stunning Mornington Peninsula National Park adjacent to Cape Schanck and Gunnamatta Beach. It’s a frequent haunt of mine as the sea and its shores are a constant source of pleasure to me. On this occasion it’s the twisted and bent tree trunks of the local native vegetation, a ‘Moonah’ landscape, that is shaped by strong southerly winds that come barreling across Bass Strait throughout the year.
The pendant was made using the ancient technique of cuttlefish bone casting and refined by hand in my studio.
You’ll love this piece which is as individual as you are. The beauty of cuttlefish bone casting is that all my designs are one-off works of art.
Size 21.2mm wide x 18.7mm in length + 2.3mm at the thickest point.
If you would like to visit my studio to try it on and to see other pieces available for sale please contact me to arrange a time. My studio is always open by appointment.
All my silver and gold jewellery comes beautifully presented in a gorgeous little box with a small polishing cloth to help you keep your jewellery clean.
