Next Sunday the 17th February is the annual Festival of Glass at Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria.  I have been welcomed by the festival committee and will have a stall among 60+ other glass artists and retailers selling my jewellery.

I thank my little sister Sophie from Wildstones Creative Glass who recommended the event to me and who will also be there on the day.

The annual Festival of Glass celebrates the beauty and versatility of glass. It is unique in Australia and one of only a handful of similar events worldwide. The Festival of Glass vision is to become the primary showcase for glass-related art, craft and industry in Australia.

As I write this over 100 new glass beads have almost completed the kiln annealing process, before I set to cleaning and assembling on my handcrafted findings. It’s going to be a colourful day, please drop by and say hello.
